Non-accredited test equipment for testing the fire resistance of vertical building structures built into non-load-bearing test frames. The heating system consists of eight high-speed gas burners with a total output of 3.6 MW. In the event of a power failure, the furnace is connected to a backup generator, which ensures smooth continuation of the test.

  • Equipment designed according to EN 1363-1:2013 and EN 1363-2:2000
  • Inner furnace temperature of up to 1180˚C for up to 260 minutes
  • Tests can be performed according to pre-set fire curves:
    • Standard curve according to CSN EN 1363-1: 2013, paragraph 5.1.1
    • External fire curve according to CSN EN 1363-2: 2000, paragraph 5.2
    • Slow heating curve according to CSN EN 1363-2: 2000, paragraph 6.2
    • Carbon curve according to CSN EN 1363-2: 2000, paragraph 4.2
    • Any user curves up to 1180˚C
  • Non-load bearing test frames with 5 x 3.5 x 0.25 m clear dimensions are used to mount test specimens
  • Transport of frames is done using a bridge crane with load capacity of 12 tons
  • The maximum sample weight, including lining is 9100 kg
  • Scissor platform is available for sample assembly
  • Temperatures, pressure and volume of oxygen in the furnace
  • Temperatures on unexposed surface using up to 120 thermocouples
  • Temperatures on the exposed surface, or optionally inside the sample, with up to 25 thermocouples
  • Radiating heat flow up to two radiometers with a range of 0-50 kW/m2
  • Cross beam deformation and gauge
  • Set of joint gauges and a cotton pad holder
  • Two glazed openings for sample monitoring during the air-cooled test
  • Camera record
  • Thermal camera output

  • Standard lining - porous concrete blocks thickness 250 mm.
  • Overhead at the maximum span - reinforced concrete lintel 250 x 200 mm (W x H) with an optional backing 800 mm high (total height of the overhead max. 1000 mm).
